Wendy Nather

Wendy Nather started out her IT career as a technical writer, Unix system administrator, and manager, and helped to build the largest private trading floor in Europe.

As Director of IT Security for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for SBC Warburg (now UBS Investment Bank), she managed security issues for mergers as well as for their outsourced IT operations. She also served as the Information Security Officer at the Texas Education Agency, where during her tenure the data center operations were being outsourced, consolidated and virtualized along with those of 26 other state agencies.
